Sales Manager

We are not about just selling insurance and to us getting insurance is not just a one-off transaction. We believe insurance is a requisite in all stages of life and we take pride in being present in our customer’s life journey. We do this by offering bite-sized products and curating new ones that meet the different needs of our consumers with communities of like-minded people. We also return a portion of our margin for policies that we sell as we believe in the sharing economy and in giving back to the community at large.


  • Work with Sales and Marketing team co-leads to determine client and sales strategy, direction, and priority.
  • Monitor, manage and report KPIs of prioritized insurance products to ensure annual sales goals are met or exceeded.
  • Create and analyse standardized and custom sales reports; conduct quantitative product and sales analysis to improve knowledge about client segment dynamics and compare actual vs projected sales results (ROI). Generate and review productivity measurements.
  • Build strong and robust sales force and on-ground ambassadors pool.
  • Work with internal Product and Customer Experience team to manage, train and coach sales force on product knowledge, offline-to-online process know-how and selling skills.
  • Responsible for the development of selection and appointment strategy of new external partners, eg corporates, startups, interest groups and communities.
  • Build and maintain active relationships with existing external partners to achieve greater market penetration, increase sales results and heighten company brand awareness.
  • Keep sales force, on ground ambassadors and external partners abreast of company and insurance industry policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry and company regulations.
  • Work with Technology team to optimize management of sales prospecting/lead tracking and measurement of ROI.
  • Spearhead offline/on-ground campaign drives.
  • Attend client meetings, conventions/conferences, trade shows, workshops and events as required.
  • Responsible for the overall growth and retention of PolicyStreet customers.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of related insurance experience with a demonstrated track record of sales and sales leadership success; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. mortgage loans, credit cards, savings sales).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface with both technical and business team members at all levels within an organization.

RM2,500 basic, depending on years and depth of experience/skillset and lucrative commissions depending on sales, added up to RM8,000
